In the event of a submission from 1 of the competitors, after both have attempted, the winner will be the competitor who submitted his opponent.

In the event that both competitors escaped or both submitted one another, the competitor who did the submission faster, or escaped quicker will win.

In the event one person escapes and the other does not, the winner will be the escaper.

Finals matches will implement the same rule but will have 3 sets of overtimes in the event of a non submission. All times will then be scored together.
